Local
Government Franchising (LGF): Simpleworld
designed and implemented a new model for performance improvement
in partnership
with
Kent County Council. This led to the £3.5M high-profile
partnership between Kent County Council and Swindon Borough
Council to raise the performance of Swindon Social Services
from zero to ‘2 star’.
Inter-Authority Partnership
Unit (I-APU): In parallel,
Simpleworld worked with Kent and the Office of the Deputy
Prime Minister to
set up a separately funded unit to coordinate improvement
franchises nationally.
